Resumo: From De los medios a las mediaciones , it is revealed as the consequence of crossings and convergences, product of an intellectual environment in which certain ideas were maturing in different academic and disciplinary traditions. In this sense, a rereading is proposed here, that tries to interpret the meaning of the work for Latin American research and recover the validity of the epistemological change that it postulates.

Se propone aquí una relectura que intenta interpretar la significación que la obra tuvo para la investigación latinoamericana y recuperar la vigencia del cambio epistemológico que ella postula.De los medios a las mediaciones revela-se fruto de cruzamentos e convergências, produto de um ambiente intelectual em que certas ideias amadureciam em diferentes tradições acadêmicas e disciplinares.
