The librarian’s work and the potential risks to integral health: evaluation of the ergonomics field

Resumo: It presents reflection on the librarians’ work environment as a place that produces potential risks to their integral health. This situation places the subject in the field of Ergonomic studies. In this issue, the possibilities of professional adjustment to the work environment and its physical, social and management conditions can be analyzed. As references for this reflection the text introduces the concept of health, as created by the World Health Organization (WHO), and the term Integralidade, as one of the action lines of the Brazilian legislation that created the Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) and, to finish, it points out the relation of this with professional ethics.

A partir de ella se pueden analizar las posibilidades de ajuste del ambiente y de las condiciones físicas, sociales y de gestión que vengan a propiciar no sólo la prevención, sino la posible eliminación de esos riesgos en aquel ambiente. Como referencia para esta reflexión, cabría introducir el concepto de salud, según la perspectiva de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS), y el de Integralidad, que es una de las directrices de la legislación brasileña que creó el Sistema Único de Salud (SUS) y, al final, apuntar hacia la relación de ello con la ética profesional.O presente artigo traz uma reflexão em torno da percepção do ambiente de trabalho da pessoa que exerce os encargos de bibliotecário como um locus produtor potencial de riscos à sua saúde integral, o que coloca o tema no eixo de discussão da Ergonomia. A partir dessa podem-se analisar as possibilidades de ajuste do ambiente e das condições físicas, sociais e de gestão que venham a propiciar não só a prevenção, mas a possível eliminação desses riscos naquele ambiente. Como referência para essa reflexão, caberia introduzir o conceito de saúde, conforme a perspectiva da Organização Mundial de Saúde (OMS), e o de Integralidade, que é uma das diretrizes da legislação brasileira que criou o Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) e, ao final, apontar a relação disso com a ética profissional.-It presents reflection on the librarians’ work environment as a place that produces potential risks to their integral health.
