Resumo: The paper introduces morphology to represent the needs of decision makers that aim to make the production of managerial information process more effective. Discusses how a morphology representation may be related to the problems of timelessness and the imprecision of the managerial information produced in the Information Centers. Based on this discussion are outlined requirements guiding the morphology and is submitted its structure, together with its properties. Concludes that the morphology created has characteristics that make it possible to treat the main signs related to the lateness and the imprecision of managerial information problems and may represent a new theoretical and conceptual framework of information science for effectiveness analyses on the information process production that meets the decision maker’s needs.

Discute-se como uma morfologia de representação pode estar relacionada aos sinais que apontam para a ocorrência dos problemas da intempestividade e da imprecisão da informação produzida nos Núcleos de Informação. Com base nesta discussão são delineados os requisitos norteadores da morfologia e é apresentada a proposta da sua estrutura, acompanhada das suas propriedades.
