Organization of legal information: study of the representation and design of information applied in LexPGE system

The article aims to analyze the organization of legal information on the basis of normative acts of the Attorney General's Office of the State of Pará, called LexPGE, with emphasis on the representation and design of information. Regarding the methodology applied to the research, it is characterized as descriptive, with a qualitative approach and the procedures used were: bibliographic research to deepen and contextualize the correlated themes, documentary research based on the manual prepared by the server responsible for feeding the base, direct observation to study the operation of the base and the final presentation of legal information to the user. LexPGE presents good results in terms of information representation, having as a weak point the instability of indexing, as it does not have technical language, leaving the professional responsible for content analysis and selection of indexing terms. As for Information Design, the base does not use illustrations, graphics, or shapes as often, restricting the analysis to the text and the few colors selected for specific actions. In summary, the presentation of information follows a pattern already established in the legal area that serves its purpose, providing harmony and aesthetics, as well as meaning in reading.
