Resumo: This paper consistsof a theoretical essay which investigates the theme of citizenship asan everyday practice. It proposes conceptual interventions in this field andat the same time it seeks to establish interlocutions with situations relatedto educational processes, particularly those that take place at schools ona daily basis. It aims at making connections between categories related tothe area of everyday life studies and the thematic perspectives of some researchersthat have recently discussed the theme of citizenship educationas an everyday practice. Three analytical categories, agency, experienceand identity, will stand as points of interrelation between the two researchlines presented on the theme. In the end, we suggest what the interconnectionof those two perspectives might bring to the understanding of citizenshipand for the processes of citizenship education.

Propõe algumas construções conceituais nesse campo e, ao mesmo tempo, procura estabelecer interlocuções com situações vinculadas a processos educacionais, especialmente àqueles que acontecem no diaa dia da escola. Busca-se efetuar conexões entre categorias relacionadas ao âmbito dos estudos do cotidiano e perspectivas temáticas de autores europeusque recentemente têm discutido a cidadania como prática cotidiana. Três categorias analíticas, agência, experiência e identidade, atuarão comoreferência na interligação entre as duas linhas de investigação apresentadas sobre o tema.
