Environmental risk of flood in trainers rivers of river Piabanha basin (highlands fluminense)

Resumo: | The natural disasters like floods and landslides have increased in the last decades. In this way it is necessary that the counties in which the process of flood occurr, established a detailed mapping of areas with most occurrences of this process. Using geomorphological and morphometric analysis, that allow to determine flood points, are organized in a schematic graphic for the characterization of each point. It was used as a case study the Piabanha River, in the Petrópolis and Areal counties. The development of a thematic map with flood points is one of the results obtained. |

The development of a thematic map with flood points is one of the results obtained.Os desastres naturais como enchentes e deslizamentos de encostas, têm aumentado consideravelmente nas últimas décadas. Nesse sentido torna-se necessário que os municípios que convivem com processos de enchentes elaborem um mapeamento detalhado das áreas com maior risco da ocorrência desses processos. Através de análises geomorfológicas e morfométricas, as quais servem para determinar pontos de enchentes que são organizadas em tabela esquemática para a caracterização de cada ponto. A Cabeceira do rio Piabanha tomada como estudo refere-se a parte dos municípios de Petrópolis e Areal.
