Resumo: | The purpose of this article is to analyze Senate Bill No. 146/2007, which deals with the digitization and archiving of documents in optical or electronic media, as well as verifying how its implementation will affect the preservation of documents in the country. It adopts as methodology the bibliographical and documentary research. It presents a detailed description of the proposal, comparing the project with current legislation - Law No. 12,682 / 2012 - and analyzing the main justifications contained in PLS 146/2007. In addition, the article discusses the main innovation contained in the project, which is the possibility of discarding paper documents, after their digitalization and certification. |
