The Supervised Academic Training is an object of study and reflection and contributing in the education teachers for providing a close relation between the theory and practice, in addition, enables the students to adopt a teacher's posture to the teaching questions. That way, this academic paper has the purpose to discuss the role of the Supervised Training for the teacher training in the Pedagogy's distance learning course of the Polo UAB Caicó-RN, aiming to contribute the debate about the academic training as formative element. To accomplish this search, qualitative, quantitative and bibliographic research was used as methodology, with the theoretical contribution of authors as Pimenta e Lima (2004), Garcia e Santos Sobrinho (2014), Ghedin, Oliveira e Almeida (2015), among others, seeking to know the set of questions studied. The research started out from the documentary analysis made in the reports of supervised training produced by the academic students of Pedagogy's distance learning course, aiming to understand how the Supervised Academic Training II is thought by students, the teacher impressions (feelings and perceptions) built during it, and too, the greatest difficulties faced and the possibilities found in the completion of the supervised academic training in schools. It is intended discuss the role of the supervised training in the teacher training of basic education and their contribution. It was concluded that the Supervised Academic Training, as object of study, contributes to the construction of new knowledge of the future academic, as a pedagogue.
