Resumo: Traumatic injuries involving primary teeth both prevalence and incidence are high and progressive, since childhood at an early age have underdeveloped motor coordination, which exposes them to the risk of new injuries. Because of the high prevalence and the possible consequences, the trauma should be considered always as a urgency, since there is a close relationship between the primary tooth apex affected by trauma and the germ of the successor permanent tooth.
