As tecnologias da informação e comunicação na escola: um breve relato acerca da leitura e produção de textos no suporte digital E-mail

This paper is an experience report and its general objective is guided in the knowledge and use of email and in its use within the class of public school room, as a possibility of practices of reading and rereading, written and rewritten of a significant variety of textual genres. The specific objectives are associated with the idea of developing the student comprehension skills and text production in a digital support that promotes skills in information and communication Technologies (ICTs). The central argument shows the email as a potencial tool information and communication that conveys and attractive genre and establishes as a technological and didactic recourse in the school context. This tool gives origin to a great new resource to be explored for the teachers and the students in the relation to digital inclusion. We start from basic theoretical and methodological references for this study (BELLONI, 2001; PIERRE LEVY, 1993, 1996, 1999; MILK; SAMPAIO, 2001) which discussed the importance for the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). As result of the research, this article shows and discusses possibilities of reading and text production in the digital time, specifically on gender and email support; theoretical scores about reading presence and texts production possibilities within the digital support in public schools and also the use of them in teaching the planning exercises and records observation from activities with the students from the classes of 4th and 4th grades of afternoon shift, (fifty-seven students) at Benvinda Nunes Teixeira School /Guamaré/RN, these students had the contact, production, reception and sending of various textual genres in the electronic mailbox.
