The present work is the result of studies and reflections about the organization of the classroom as an instrument of interaction and learning in Early Childhood Education, developed from observations and interventions in the classroom of level IV of a public institution of early childhood education in the city of Natal, in addition to an interview with the classroom teacher. The objective of this work is to understand how classroom space in Early Childhood Education can contribute to the interaction and learning of children of 5 and 6 years of age and the importance of teacher mediation in establishing of child/space relationships in the classroom. I relate this work to my performance as a fellow of the PIBID in the classroom studied with the theoretical basis based on Horn (2004), Zabalza (1998), Forneiro (1998), Oliveira (2012) and others, that discuss the issue of class organization in Early Childhood Education and its contributions. The results obtained from my work in the classroom are presented, such as the change in the practice of the teacher, as well as in the behavior of the children in the class.
