The said article has the theme “the importance of the reading pleasure in the early rades” and it aims to emphasize the pleasure of it in the students who are in literacy process, as well as, it encourages teachers to work increasingly reading with children, proposing several and different activities in the classroom, and showing them the importance of reading for the formation of themselves as argumentative citizens. For the development of this work were done research on the internet, in books written by authors, such as, Richard Bamberger (1987), Vilson Leffa (1996), Vera Teixeira Aguiar (2001), Crisan Siminéa (1995), Isabel Solé (1988), Marisa Lajolo (2005), PCN (2001), and others, who have studied the subject, which shows us that reading is very important for learning that it leads the reader to the knowledge of the world, helping it to develop the logical reasoning, to increase their vocabulary, pronouncing better the words, as also it allows them to live in a fantasy world, in other words, a world of imagination. It will be shown in this work what is meant by reading and how to work it in the classroom, the pleasure for reading, forming readers, children's literature as a stimulus to creativity and imagination, etc. It is important also to show the importance of family and the school to motivate the child to feel pleasure by reading from the first years of life. Reading is also one of the main tools that allow the individual to develop the critical sense, as also takes it to the world of imagination and to be a true citizen.
