Resumo: Este artigo tem como objetivo revisitar e discutir aspectos teórico-metodológicos relacionados à prática de análise linguística em sala de aula. Para isso, aborda problemas da tradição gramatical normativo-prescritiva na escola, confrontando-os com as investigações linguísticas atuais que propõem o estudo reflexivo dos fenômenos gramaticais e concebem a análise linguística como instrumento de apoio para as práticas de leitura e de produção de textos. Para tanto, apresenta um exemplo de experiência didática ancorada na análise linguística, a fim de fomentar a discussão sobre as possibilidades pedagógicas a partir da reflexão gramatical

In order to do so, it addresses problems of the grammatical normative-prescriptive tradition in the school, confronting them with the current linguistic investigations that propose the reflexive study of the grammatical phenomena and conceive the linguistic analysis as a support tool for the practices of reading and writing.
