The analysis of a particular theme is made by the approaches that itself presents and it questions. Then, this research has as purpose to accomplish a study starting from inherent aspects at the acquisition and at the oral and written language development in the childhood education. In this sense, it intends to highlight and to discuss on significant situations of teaching and learning that make possible or can favor the development and the enlargement of the communication and expression capacities and of the access to the literate world, through the oral and written language. Therefore, it is noticed the childhood education as favorable space to work the abilities related to the integral development of the child, once that the axis oral and written language enable the communicative action, the interaction and the construction of meanings starting from lived situations with the social environment and with the other, through the socialization, enlarging the cognitive and formative capacities of the child as a subject who thinks and acts actively, making possible, in this way, its insert and participation in different social practices. For the development of this work it was necessary a significant study of documental and bibliographical nature, action that provided the discussion on relevant and guiding aspects, that have to be considered in the pedagogic practice of the teacher in the extent of the childhood education, in the perspective of reaching a better acting in the teaching process and, consequently, in the children learning.
