Vamos fazer um blog na escola? O blog como mediador de aprendizagens no ensino fundamental

Resumo: The study investigates the blog's contributions to the pedagogical work carried out in the 3rd year of elementary school, in the Childhood Education Center. Its relevance is to provide the teacher subsidies to expand their skills in the teaching of media from the (re) knowledge of educational blog function, given the diversity of interests, needs and feelings of learners. It is understood that the blog is a media genre that allows significant educational practices and socializing. The study is part of the qualitative aspect characterized as an educational intervention. They were adopted, yet, as methodological procedures participant observation and the construction of a mediated in schools blog. The study took place in a group of 3rd grade of elementary school with 23 students, age range between 8 and 9 years old enrolled in the Childhood Education Center, College of Application of Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, RN (Brazil). The instruments used were: field diary; photographic register; the computer; the blog. In the pedagogical intervention took place ten (10) school building and use of a blog, with different teaching strategies. Was taken as the theoretical framework Rettenmaier studies (2009), Belloni (1991), Buckingham (2007), Caldas (2006), Simmel (1908), among others. The analysis points to the importance of media education and elementary education dialogue, strengthen the educational potential of the blog, the way he catches the interest of learners and how to democratize the global knowledge, making the most critical students. The study reveals and reinforces the construction and operation of the blog as a significant intellectual activity, pleasant and democratic, in which the reader, to collaborate with the construction of meaning and the record of learning and establishing interactive relationships, undergoes changes that favor of learning in elementary school. It emphasizes the importance of the mediator in the exploitation of educational media in the small world of the classroom.

Sua relevância consiste em fornecer ao professor subsídios para ampliar suas competências no ensino das mídias a partir do (re)conhecimento da função educativa do blog, atendendo à diversidade de interesses, necessidades e sentimentos dos aprendizes. Entende-se que o blog é um gênero midiático que permite práticas educativas significativas e socializadoras. O estudo alinha-se à vertente qualitativa caracterizando-se como uma intervenção pedagógica. Adotaram-se, ainda, como procedimentos metodológicos a observação participante e a construção mediada de um blog em contexto escolar. O estudo realizou-se em uma turma de 3º ano do ensino fundamental com 23 alunos, de faixa etária entre 8 e 9 anos, matriculados no Núcleo de Educação da Infância, Colégio de Aplicação da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal-RN (Brasil). Os instrumentos utilizados foram: diário de campo; registro fotográfico; o computador; o blog. Na intervenção pedagógica, realizaram-se 10 (dez) aulas de construção e utilização de um blog, com diferentes estratégias didáticas. Tomou-se como referencial teórico os estudos Rettenmaier (2009), Belloni (1991), Buckingham (2007), Caldas (2006), Simmel (1908), dentre outros. A análise aponta a relevância do diálogo a mídia-educação e o ensino fundamental, confirma o potencial educativo do blog, no modo como ele desperta o interesse dos aprendizes e como democratiza o conhecimento global, tornando os alunos mais críticos. O estudo revela e consolida a construção e exploração do blog como uma atividade intelectual significativa, prazerosa e democrática, na qual o leitor, ao colaborar com a construção de sentidos e com o registro das aprendizagens e ao estabelecer relações interativas, passa por transformações que favorecem as aprendizagens no Ensino Fundamental.
