Resumo: | The practice of physical activity at all ages guarantees gradual health benefits, and it is essential that the individual build this habit in order to invest in their quality of life. For children and adolescents to identify themselves with this attitude, schools must have spaces and facilities that are safe and stimulating for the practice of Physical Education (PE). However, the reality of the Brazilian public institutions portrays a negative picture regarding the availability and maintenance of these equipment. Based on this discussion, this TFG starts from the questioning about what is necessary to that the environments destined to PE in school site accomplish their educational and social function. As it is a work in the field of Architecture and Urbanism, issues of spatial adaptability and environmental aspects such as lighting, shading and acoustics, are essential to the study of the type of relationship established between the recreational and sports spaces seats in the school environment. In addition, it is intrinsic that such sporting equipment integrates with the preexisting structures and leisure activities of students. Based on this understanding, the general objective of the TFG is to elaborate the architectural design of a Multipurpose Gymnasium that can be adapted to different types of functional demands about attaching and solar orientation in public elementary schools in the city of Natal. In order to achieve this goal, the methodologies followed are: (i) comprehension of the context of PE carried out by young people in the school environment through bibliographic research; (Ii) evaluation of the structure offered by public schools in Natal, through a technical visit and interview applied with the management members and teachers of PE; And, finally, (iii) identification of possibilities for adjusting the proposal to lease in different locations, through simulations at the preliminary study level. The overall result compiled the indications by means of an establishment synthetic sheet of the architectonic project and graphic presentation of the standard lot with 982,80 m². The building itself is modular, has an area of 651,11 m² (24,50m x 26,85m), a superstructure in metallic frames, a roof with aluminum roofing and can be arranged in different ways according to the requirements of the different sites. |

Para que crianças e adolescentes se identifiquem com essa atitude, as escolas devem dispor de espaços e instalações seguras e estimulantes para a prática de Educação Física (EF). No entanto, a realidade das instituições públicas brasileiras retrata um quadro negativo frente a disponibilização e manutenção desses equipamentos. Com base nessa discussão, esse TFG parte do questionamento sobre o que é necessário para que os ambientes destinados a EF em terreno escolar cumpram sua função educacional e social. Como trata-se de um trabalho no campo da Arquitetura e Urbanismo, as questões de adaptabilidade espacial e aspectos ambientais como iluminação, sombreamento e acústica, são essenciais ao estudo do tipo de relação estabelecida entre os espaços lúdico-esportivos no ambiente escolar. Além disso, é inerente que tal equipamento esportivo se integre às estruturas preexistentes e às atividades de lazer dos estudantes. Com base nessa compreensão, o objetivo geral do TFG é elaborar o anteprojeto arquitetônico de um Ginásio Multiuso que possa ser adaptado a diferentes tipos de demandas funcionais de implantação e orientação solar em escolas estaduais do ensino fundamental da cidade de Natal. Para atingir esse desígnio, seguiram-se as metodologias indicadas: (i) compreensão do contexto da EF exercidas pelos jovens no ambiente escolar através de pesquisa bibliográfica; (ii) avaliação da infraestrutura oferecida por escolas da rede pública de Natal, através de visita técnica e entrevista aplicado com o corpo docente e professores de EF; e, por fim, (iii) identificação de possibilidades de adaptação da proposta quanto à locação em diferentes tipos de lote, através de simulações a nível de estudo preliminar. O resultado geral compilou as indicações de locação por meio de ficha sintética de implantação do anteprojeto arquitetônico e apresentação gráfica do lote padrão de 982,80 m².
