Resumo: | This article focuses on the education theme full time through the More Education Program member of PDE and with the legal framework to Ministerial Decree 17/2007 and Decree 7.083 / 10. It aims to discuss the challenges and the possibility of construction of this new model to be school. The methodology used was the presentation of authors who deal with this subject, field research in a selected school in the city of Macau / RN awarded full-time education in the year 2016.Por through analysis of policy documents of the MEC on this topic and literature focused on the theme proposes a reflection on the subject. The paper is divided into parts. The first point attempts, even if isolated schools that offer a curriculum with magnifying journey and resume template facing the development of the whole student potential. As well as contemplating the moment of transformation in the current Brazilian educational scenario, because of the public policies implemented for about a decade in the country. The second includes the More Education Program. The third part we do a cut to school studied and a comparison between the said legal frameworks and implementation of this policy in everyday school life, as well as some perceptions that the end of the research consider intrinsic to the policy development process and the fourth part of the conclusions of work now developed. |

A metodologia utilizada foi a reflexão sobre a concepção de autores que versam sobre esta temática, Cavaliere (2007), Hora e Coelho (2004), Kuhlmann (2001), Libâneo (2008), Saviani (2007), VinãoFrago (1998), Vygotsky (1998) junto à pesquisa documental SEEC/RN Portaria nº 211,que autoriza o funcionamento de Escola em Tempo Integral no estado do RN. Portaria normativa Interministerial nº 17/2007-BRASIL.) e de campo numa escola selecionada na cidade de Macau/RN contemplada com educação em tempo integral no ano de 2016. Por meio de análise de documentos orientadores do MEC sobre esta temática e de literatura voltada ao tema propõe-se uma reflexão acerca do tema. A primeira parte aponta tentativas, mesmo que isoladas de escolas que ofereçam um currículo com ampliação de jornada e modelo de currículo voltado a desenvolvimento das potencialidades integrais do educando. Assim como contempla o momento de transformações no cenário educacional brasileiro atual, em virtude das políticas públicas implementadas há cerca de uma década no país.
