In recent years, UFRN inaugurated new undergraduate courses and the number of students expanded. Also, the demand for a new adequate and satisfactory infrastructure for these new activities increased. Among the new courses, we have Design, created in 2009 and now sharing space with other courses in the Department of Arts. The purpose of this final graduation work is to meet the needs of users of the design undergraduated course, through creating a separate building for the school, with adequate and satisfactory environments. To support this work, it was made research in the area of architecture of schools and the history of design schools, as well as interviews with students and teachers for the school program. The School project was made through drawings and software. The project also focuses on issues of sustainability and energy efficiency in order to bring a low environmental impact building and provide greater comfort to users
