Resumo: This monograph, with the theme"Family and school: the family look about educational the Maria Terceira school in city Parelhas- RN" underscores the importance of the partnership between family and school in the educational process, with the study goals : to show the importance of the partnership between family and school in the educational process,to discuss the relevance of them as mainly responsible in human development and to identify the positioning and relationship of parents / family about the management and the Maria Terceira school, in Parelhas city. So, from this research will be shown that the relationship between family and school is presented as essential for the performance and development of students, since it is very important the interaction of them for the construction of the teaching-learning process, seeking to affect and commitment to both the construction of these processes. Teaching and learning.O presente trabalho monográfico, intitulado “Família e escola: o olhar da família sobre a Escola Estadual Maria Terceira na cidade de Parelhas- RN”, aborda a importância da parceria entre família e escola no processo educacional, tendo como objetivos de estudo: mostrar a importância da parceria entre família e escola no processo educacional, discutir a relevância desses dois ambientes como principais responsáveis no desenvolvimento humano e identificar qual o posicionamento e relação dos pais/familiares a respeito da gestão e da Escola Estadual Maria Terceira, na cidade de Parelhas-RN. Metodologicamente a investigação consistiu de pesquisa bibliográfica a autores que discutem a temática como: CAMPOS (2010), DESSEN (2006), LIBÂNEO (2001), LÓPEZ (2002), SAVIANI (1991), TIBA (2007) entre outros. Além disso, utilizou-se pesquisa documental e aplicação de questionário.
