Dos contos de fadas ao desenho animado no imaginário infantil

Resumo: | Nowadays society, when technologies are increasingly advanced and accessible, it is common for children to use and adapt to them very quickly, whereas child development occurs according to the interaction with environment. However, this integration with the technological environment has led the population to new habits by replacing, for example, listening and reading fairy tales to watch cartoons on TV. In this perspective, the present work consists of a reflection on how the fairy tales have lost space for the media and how this can influence children's behavior. Thus, the objective was to explore what can occur in the massive substitution of the child's imaginary construction from fairy tales by cartoons. In order to develop a critical work on the subject, a bibliographical review was carried out to allow the dialogue on a theme that becomes important because it deals with the development of children. Therefore, the concept and a brief history about fairy tales are presented at the first moment, showing their importance to children's imagination and the relevance of this to the development of the child. In the second moment, it is reported a brief history of cartoons, how they came to be part of children's daily life and how it influences children's imagination and development. In the third moment, the influence of fairy tales and cartoons on child development is discussed, as well as the substitution of fairy tales for cartoons and overexposure of children. Lastly, the final considerations, from both contrary and favorable points of view about the constant use of the media by the children's audience, aiming at the importance of fairy tales in the imaginary and the awareness that there is no way to be protected against technologies. This highlights the need to balance the time when children use the media as entertainment and the time when they can be entertained with fairy tales to ensuring quality reading education. |

Entretanto, essa integração com o meio tecnológico tem levado a população a novos hábitos, substituindo por exemplo, ouvir e ler contos de fadas para assistir desenhos animados na TV. Nessa perspectiva, o presente trabalho consiste em uma reflexão sobre como os contos de fadas tem perdido espaço para as mídias e como isso pode influenciar no comportamento infantil. Assim, traçou-se como objetivo explorar o que pode ocorrer na substituição massiva da construção do imaginário da criança a partir dos contos de fada pelos desenhos animados. No sentido de desenvolver um trabalho crítico sobre a questão, foram pesquisadas fontes bibliográficas que discorriam sobre o assunto, possibilitando o diálogo sobre um tema que se faz importante por tratar do desenvolvimento infantil na atualidade. Para tanto, são apresentados, no primeiro momento, o conceito e um breve histórico sobre os contos de fadas, apresentando sua importância no imaginário infantil e deste para o desenvolvimento da criança. No segundo momento, é relatada uma breve história dos desenhos animados, como eles passaram a fazer parte do cotidiano das crianças e como isso influencia no imaginário e desenvolvimento infantil. No terceiro momento, é discutido as influências que os contos de fadas e os desenhos animados têm no desenvolvimento infantil, tratando também da substituição dos contos de fadas pelos desenhos animados e a superexposição destes as crianças.
