In the children's scenario literature is presented as stimulus from early grades to children to build the habit of reading, create wheels routines conversations, feel delight and pleasure in reading and writing, and promote improvements in the learning process of this child, as well to enable a better understanding of each other and living with each other. The literature supported the development of this work, in which conceptions of important authors of children's literature were used. It was observed that the contributions of children's literature strengthen beyond the process of reading and writing, but mainly promotes the child encouragement of reading, leverage critical thinking and how to realize the medium that is inserted. In this perspective, it is expected that this study will raise awareness and encourage the use of children's literature, enhance their contributions and correct weaknesses, ensuring results transformers.
