O conhecimento teórico dos estudantes de enfermagem sobre reanimação cardiopulmonar (RCP)

Resumo: Objectives: To analyze the theoretical knowledge of the students of the 7th and 9th period of the nursing course of the Faculty of Health Sciences of Trairi on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, according to the protocol of the American Heart Association. Methods: Descriptive exploratory research with a quantitative approach. 46 students participated. The collection was performed from September to October 2017, and data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. Results: There were a total of 306 (44.35%) correct answers, 197 (28.55%) partially correct answers and 187 (27.10%) incorrect or unanswered questions. Conclusions: There is a gap in the knowledge of nursing undergraduates. It is necessary to think of mechanisms to strengthen teaching and nursing in this area.
