Resumo: O objetivo do estudo foi avaliar as modificações na rede de drenagem decorrentes das obras de engenharia do Programa Social e Ambiental dos Igarapés de Manaus (PROSAMIM), no igarapé Mestre Chico, relacionando-as com as informações previstas nos relatórios técnicos oficiais do Programa. Observou-se que determinadas informações projetadas não foram realizadas. Destacam-se problemas relacionados a processos erosivos e ao escoamento de águas pluviais. Palavras-chave: Igarapé; Obras de engenharia; PROSAMIM; Manaus. ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to appreciate changes in the drainage basin derived from engineering constructions of the Programa Social e Ambiental dos Igarapés de Manaus (PROSAMIM) in the igarapé Mestre Chico, relating them to the information provided in the technical reports of the official program.
