Resumo: The growing of crambe should be inserted in agricultural production systems ensure continued sustainability from the point of economic, social and environmental. The aim was evaluate of growth, development and dry matter an nutrients in crambe plants influenced by the sunflower (Helianthus annus L.) plants residues retained in soil surface. For this, an experiment was conducted in 2010 and repeated in 2012. For each crop, the experiment was randomized in split plot complete block with four replications. The plots were represented for agronomic practice (area with and without sunflower plants residues maintained in soil surface) and the subplots, by the six sampling times, ie, 18, 36, 54, 72, 90 and 108 days after sowing (DAS). Morphological characteristics of plants and nutrient accumulation in shoot were evaluated, as well as performed growth analysis. A study was also conducted with objective to evaluate the influence position of pod (fruits) of crambe and girassol sunflower residues at to yield components in crambe plants, utilizing the same experimental design. For this, the plots were represented by agronomic practice (area with and without sunflower plants residues in soil surface) and subplots for 4 pod position in plant of crambe (main stem and primary, secondary and tertiary branches). Harvesting the plants were cut, separated in main stem and branches, then sequence per part plant, evaluation of number and weight pods, as well as, certain thousand pods weight. From the results obtained can be concluded that at first crop, area in the presence sunflower (Helianthus annus L.) plants residues retained in soil surface, the greater leaf area per unit soil area up to 36 days after sowing, favored of net assimilation rate (NAR) up to 72 days after sowing and dry matter accumulation per unit soil area occupied in time, crop growth rate (CGR) up to 90 days after sowing during, both nutrients accumulation in crambe plants as from 36 days after sowing. In second crop, with less amount sunflower (Helianthus annus L.) plants residues retained in soil surface in from the first crop, the lower index area leaf (LAI) and dry matter accumulation in shoot resulting in lower growth rates throughout the phenological cycle, as well as lower nutrients accumulation in plants crambe. The area with presence sunflower (Helianthus annus L.) plants residues also favors pod weight harvesting in primary and secondary branches in first crop. The pods harvesting secondary and primary branches, at higher number and thousand pod weight contribute to higher crambe seed yield.

Submitted by Jorge Silva (jorgelmsilva@ufrrj.br) on 2019-10-23T18:49:28Z No. of bitstreams: 1 2014 - Luiz Ant?nio Silva dos Santos.pdf: 1534057 bytes, checksum: bf2aa47aaacf2c15e267be633f3169ec (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2019-10-23T18:49:28Z (GMT).
