Vivências identitárias juvenis com os mestres griôs e o cineafro na escola

Resumo: The main theme of this article is about youth, education, culture and cinema in the context of public secondary education in the countryside in Riachão do Jacuípe, state of Bahia. Focused on griot pedagogy, we aim to promote ethnic-racial education. The methodological basis of this study is qualitative, which resulted in an action-research linked to the project Batuques de Ancestry. As a result, we highlight the anti-racist pedagogical potential of the oral tradition of the griô masters and their ancestral knowledge, as well as the seventh art in the construction of youth identities at school, associated with the dialogue wheels of the griô pedagogy. The four analyzed cinematographic productions fostered identity narratives filled with new meanings and appropriations. Therefore, we hope that the high school will give new meaning to its anti-racist actions, encouraging authenticity, autonomy and otherness in its young students.

Centrada na pedagogia griô, objetivamos promover uma educação étnico-racial. A base metodológica deste estudo é qualitativa que resultou em uma pesquisa-ação vinculada ao projeto Batuques de Ancestralidade. Destacamos como resultados o potencial pedagógico antirracista da tradição oral dos mestres griôs e seus saberes ancestrais, bem como da sétima arte na construção das identidades juvenis na escola, associado às rodas de diálogo da pedagogia griô. As quatro produções cinematográficas analisadas, fomentaram as narrativas identitárias eivadas de novos sentidos e apropriações.
