The logistics is currently a major factor in increasing the competitiveness of companies. The lack of logistics infrastructure in the Amazonas state complicates both the flow of production of the Industrial Pole of Manaus, such as transport of goods bought in other states of Brazil, which are marketed in the cities of the Amazonas. One alternative that has advantage over transport time is the air transport, which can facilitate the transit of goods. This research evaluated the deadlines in air transportation and road transportation for cargo acquired by a company located in the Industrial Pole of Manaus. The survey indicated a large reduction in the delivery of orders, enabling an additional advantage over competitors. In addition to reducing the time of transport, the use of air freight reduces inventory carrying costs, that which may influence product prices for end consumers.
