Resumo: | This article aims to identify and reflect how female education was proposed from the speeches produced by Comenius (Didactica Magna), by the Marquis de Condorcet (Five Memories on Public Education) and by Rousseau (Emile, or On Education). The text on screen is the result of qualitative research of the exploratory type. The methodology started from reading the texts of these authors in order to raise their main conceptions and proposals about female education. The results of the research showed that, the three authors have in common the understanding that woman’s mission is motherhood, family care and the education of children. The research showed that. from the three authors, Condorcet is the most progressive in terms of female education, and despite reproducing essentialist ideas, he contributed to the emancipation of women in society. |

O texto em tela é fruto de uma pesquisa qualitativa do tipo exploratória. A metodologia partiu da leitura dos textos desses autores, com o intuito de levantar suas principais concepções e propostas acerca da educação feminina. Os resultados da pesquisa apontaram que os três autores têm como ponto em comum, a compreensão de que a missão da mulher é a maternidade, o cuidado da família e a educação dos filhos.
