Information technology is, in fact, a breakthrough. It is a trend that plays a key role in business development. Thus, the main objective of this work was to analyze the implementation of a shopping application / online site in a supermarket in the municipality of Tobias Barreto, located in the Municipality of Tobias Barreto / SE. As a research tool, he used a semi-structured interview script to the supermarket manager and applied a research questionnaire to the company's clients, in order to understand the management of the supermarket related to the technological innovation used, in order to verify what motivated them to using the application and / or site of Supermarket X. It was characterized as a multi-method approach (qualitative and quantitative), making use of subjective and numerical data to support the theory seen in the referential. The innovation in this supermarket is dictated mainly by the behavior of the customers, seeking to satisfy their real needs. In this way, the obtained result was to understand that there was commercial and financial return after the beginning of the use of innovations like the one of the application and site.
