Resumo: | The guarantee of safety in geotechnical works is of utmost relevance, as collapses caused by their ruptures can result in material and human losses. Therefore, stability analysis of the slopes to be executed is crucial for road embankment works, for example. Many techniques can be applied to overcome instability situations, such as benching, geosynthetics, and retaining structures. One of the employed solutions is to improve the soil intended for the embankment body, in order to increase the shear strength parameters, corresponding to the angle of internal friction and cohesive intercept. Thus, in order to observe the influence that the chemical stabilizer dynabase transmits to the soil strength parameters, CU triaxial tests were performed with a mixture of clayey soil with 5% dynabase and 7 days of curing to determine the variation in angle of internal friction and cohesive intercept, comparing with the results available in the literature. A cementing behavior was observed in the stabilizer, providing the mixture with a 170% increase in the value of cohesive intercept and a slight increase in the value of angle of internal friction. Finally, when applying the acquired parameters in a slope section, an improvement of 65% was observed in the safety factor. It is concluded that the use of the tested chemical stabilizer with the soil used in the research promoted significant improvements in the cohesive strength component of the soil. |

Em virtude disso, a análise da estabilidade dos taludes a serem executados é crucial para obras de aterros viários, por exemplo. Muitas técnicas podem ser aplicadas para contornar situações de instabilidade, como retaludamento, geossintéticos e contenções. Uma das soluções empregadas é realizar o melhoramento do solo destinado ao corpo do aterro, com o objetivo de aumentar os parâmetros de resistência ao cisalhamento, correspondendo ao ângulo de atrito interno e intercepto coesivo. Dessa forma, com o objetivo de observar a influência que o estabilizante químico dynabase transmite aos parâmetros de resistência do solo, foram realizados ensaios triaxiais CU com a mistura de solo argiloso com 5% de dynabase e 07 dias de cura para determinação da variação no ângulo de atrito interno e intercepto coesivo, comparando com os resultados disponíveis na literatura. Foi observado no estabilizante um comportamento cimentante, fornecendo à mistura um aumento de 170% no valor de intercepto coesivo e um discreto aumento no valor de ângulo de atrito interno. Por fim, ao aplicar os parâmetros adquiridos em uma seção de talude, observou-se um aumento no fator de segurança em 65%.
