Sistema de informação e estratégia em organizações agroindustriais: uma abordagem multivariada

O objetivo deste artigo foi investigar as relações entre aspectos do sistema de informações dentro do processo de gestão estratégica em organizações agroindustriais. Para a realização dessa pesquisa, foram investigadas vinte e uma agroindústrias e analisadas onze variáveis e utilizada uma abordagem metodológica multivariada através da análise de agrupamentos, do escalonamento multidimensional e da análise fatorial. Os resultados obtidos através da análise de agrupamento apontaram evidências empíricas da existência de relações entre os diversos fatores referentes às informações financeiras utilizadas dentro das práticas gerenciais sobre custos a partir da identificação de dois grupos. O primeiro agrupamento foi composto pelas metas estratégicas, pelos canais de feedback e pela difusão da estratégia. O segundo agrupamento foi composto pelas variáveis que representam as informações sobre a frequência da realização de reuniões e sobre o volume do faturamento. Estes resultados revelam indícios particulares referentes à caracterização das relações entre os principais aspectos relativos ao sistema de informações dentro do processo de visão e gestão estratégica em organizações agroindustriais. Estudos mais abrangentes podem revelar detalhes mais específicos acerca destas relações._______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT: This paper aimed to investigate the relationship between aspects of the information system among the process of strategic management in agribusiness organizations. To achieve the purposes of this research, twenty-one agribusiness organizations were investigated and eleven variables were analyzed by the used of three multivariate approaches performed through cluster analysis, multidimensional scaling and factor analysis. The results obtained showed evidence of the existence of empirical relationships between the various factors relating to the financial information used within the cost management practices on the basis of the identification of two groups. The first group was composed of the strategic goals, the channels for feedback and dissemination of the strategy. The second group was composed of the variables that represent information about the frequency of holding meetings and on the volume of billing. These results show a particular characterization of the relationship between some of the key aspects related to the information system in the process of vision and strategic management in agribusiness organizations. More comprehensive studies may reveal more specific details about these relationships.
