Ensino de leitura para o letramento e a cidadania : a reportagem audiovisual no livro didático

Resumo: The present work is the result of a pedagogical intervention proposal about the teaching of reading for literacy and citizenship, developed in a 6th grade class of Elementary School II in a municipal school in the city of Fatima -BA. It starts from the analysis of the didactic textbook "Project Teláris: Portuguese 6º ano", adopted for the investigated grade and the possibility of carrying out educational practices with an approach of a more interactionist nature. The main objective of this work is to promote literacy practices focused on the local color and subjects identity that integrate the school context, from the activities proposition to amplify those proposed by the book, engaged in textuality perspective. For the execution of this proposal we use the written and oral modality of the report allied to the new technologies. This dissertation theoretical contribution is molded by Bakhtin’s (1992,1997and 2009) perspective of genres; Antunes’ perspective of textuality (2009;2017); about didactic sequences centered in textual genres, by Dolz, Noverraz and Schneuwly's (2011); and, lastly, in Kleiman (1995 and 2005) and Soares (1995, 2003,2004 and 2017) to deal with literacy. It is also based in official documents guiding Brasilian education to think citizenship and literacy, as the Portuguese National Curricular Parameters (1998), National Curricular Guidelines to basic education (2013) and Curricular Common National Basis (2017). This research came from the alarming results of the external evaluations, which indicated low proficiency levels in reading and writing and which, in turn, are configured in high rates of functional illiteracy, demonstrating thus, a negative reflection of the failure of working with texts. In this perspective, this proposal will use as methodology an action research and theoretical research, initially through the bibliographical studies, followed by the development of a didactic sequence that will include reading, interpretation and production of audiovisual report activities, whose purpose is to raise teachers attention about the development of didactic activities that consider literacy and contribute to improve students' proficiency in reading and writing. The results show that methodological proposals for language teaching in reading and writing, which are not limited to thinking and understanding the genres, but which appropriate them to communicate/express themselves in creation, circulation and reception real contexts, give meaning to the learning process, and in addition to increasing students literacy level, contribute to the broad development and exercise of citizenship. As a product of this work, a pedagogical book is published with activities for reading and textual production with the genre reporting.

Parte-se da análise do livro didático “Projeto Teláris: Português 6º ano”, adotado para a turma investigada e da possibilidade de realizar práticas educativas com abordagem de natureza mais interacionista. O objetivo principal deste trabalho é promover práticas de letramento voltados para a cor local e a identidade dos sujeitos que integram o contexto escolar, a partir da proposição de atividades que ampliem àquelas já ditas no livro didático, engajadas na perspectiva de textualidade. Para a execução desta proposta utilizamos a modalidade escrita e oral da reportagem aliadas às novas tecnologias. O aporte teórico desta dissertação foi formado pela perspectiva de gêneros de Bakhtin (1992; 1997; 2009); de textualidade de Antunes (2009; 2017); sobre sequências didáticas centradas em gêneros textuais, em Dolz, Noverraz e Schneuwly (2011); e por fim, em Kleiman (1995; 2005) e Soares (1995;2004; 2005; 2017), para tratarmos sobre o letramento. Fundamenta-se ainda em documentos oficiais norteadores da educação brasileira para pensar a cidadania e o letramento, a exemplo dos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais de Língua Portuguesa – Ensino Fundamental II (1998), das Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para a Educação Básica (2013) e da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (2018). A necessidade desta pesquisa surgiu a partir do quadro preocupante dos resultados das avaliações externas, que indicaram baixos níveis de proficiência em leitura e escrita e que, por sua vez, configuram-se em altos índices de analfabetismo funcional, evidenciando, assim, um reflexo negativo da insuficiência dos trabalhos com os textos. Nesta perspectiva, esta proposta utiliza como metodologia a pesquisa-ação e a pesquisa teórica, inicialmente através de estudos bibliográficos, seguidos pelo desenvolvimento de uma sequência didática que contempla atividades de leitura, interpretação e produção de reportagem audiovisual, cujo propósito se firma em despertar a atenção dos professores sobre o desenvolvimento de atividades didáticas que considerem o letramento e colaborem para a melhoria na proficiência dos alunos na leitura e na escrita. Os resultados evidenciam que propostas metodológicas para o ensino de língua no tocante à leitura e à escrita que não se limitem a pensar e entender os aspectos estruturais dos gêneros, mas que se apropriem deles para comunicar/expressar-se em contextos reais de criação, circulação e recepção, dão significado ao processo de aprendizagem e, além de ampliarem o grau de letramento do aluno, colaboram para o amplo desenvolvimento e exercício da cidadania.
