Literature is an inexhaustible source of information and a literature on children and youth is one of the types of literature that grows over time and reaches a larger number of readers. In turn, the main object of study of Librarianship, and a literature has a fundamental role in this dissemination. The connect books and the library are inevitably and the literature presents the following elements in the development of these narratives. From the perspective and the publication of a literature about a starting point in the formation of a reader, the present work has as general objective: to present a work of art "A Series of Unfortunate Events" the elements of librarianship within the narrative. They are specific objectives: to know which elements of librarianship are presented, what are their opinions about the retracted ones, to present a panorama about the literature and its importance for the formation of the potential reader. The research may have a qualitative aspect for its exploratory approach, for purposes of analyzing its objectives, and for analyzing the data used for the information search. As a result, it was verified that a work "A Series of Unfortunate Events" can be displayed, the elements, book, library and librarianship are represented and can be edited as Indicator for young readers
