Práticas pedagógicas nas escolas cívico-militares: a ordem do discurso da bio-política do estado brasileiro

Resumo: | This article aims to understand from Foucault's conceptions how the pedagogical practices adopted by civic-military schools perform the function of 'good training'. As civic-military schools multiply, it is observed that other public institutions make reference to such schools when considering their practices as a model to be followed. This text reflects on the growth of military colleges in Goiás and the implementation of military civic models in the country, based on the assumption that these colleges can be understood in the relations of regulation and control of bio-politics. Thus, it is observed that Foucault's conceptions of docile bodies and biopower are present as examples of disciplining. The article was written based on bibliographic and documentary research, given that the materials that support this school model were consulted. As a theoretical foundation, the main author used was Foucault (1976, 1984, 1996, 2006, 2009). |

À medida que as escolas cívico-militares se multiplicam, observa-se que outras instituições públicas fazem referência a tais escolas ao considerar suas práticas como modelo a serem seguidos. Este texto faz uma reflexão acerca do crescimento dos colégios militares em Goiás e da implantação dos modelos cívicos militares no país, partindo do pressuposto de que estes colégios podem ser compreendidos nas relações de regulação e controle da bio-política. Desse modo, observase que as concepções de Foucault sobre corpos dóceis e biopoder se fazem presentes como exemplos de disciplinamento. O artigo foi escrito a partir da pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, haja vista que consultou-se nos materiais que sustentam esse modelo de escola.
