Práticas pedagógicas nas escolas cívico-militares: a ordem do discurso da bio-política do estado brasileiro

This article aims to understand from Foucault's conceptions how the pedagogical practices adopted by civic-military schools perform the function of 'good training'. As civic-military schools multiply, it is observed that other public institutions make reference to such schools when considering their practices as a model to be followed. This text reflects on the growth of military colleges in Goiás and the implementation of military civic models in the country, based on the assumption that these colleges can be understood in the relations of regulation and control of bio-politics. Thus, it is observed that Foucault's conceptions of docile bodies and biopower are present as examples of disciplining. The article was written based on bibliographic and documentary research, given that the materials that support this school model were consulted. As a theoretical foundation, the main author used was Foucault (1976, 1984, 1996, 2006, 2009).
