The article aims to analyze the indicators of literacy, in the process of formation of reading and writ in the inclusive classroom Inclusive Education. The difficulty in literacy of students with intellectual disabilities mobilized this investigation. The qualitative research is linked to the Scientific Initiation Program/PIIC/UFS, developed in 01 of the Municipal School class room X. The prospect is the methodology and case study tools for data collection, observation of lessons. The analysis is based on the socio cultural background that supports theoretical research. The results have revealed the intention of the teacher in working with literacy”, but the imprisonment the mechanistic conception of literacy has hindered the realization of the indicators that students, including those with intellectual disabilities have revealed.
