Resumo: Discovered between the decades of 80 and 90 by occasion of the Xingó Archaeological Rescue Program, the Justino site quickly became a prominent target amongst the other identified archaeological sites in the impact zone. The object of several studies and research projects, Justino presents a good amount of publications about its "flagship": The burials. Of the many excavated burials, three contained an object associated with the skeletal remains not found in the other burials. This object has been identified as a flute. In a total of approximately 200 burials in Justino, these three take us to reflect about a field not yet verified in the studies of this site: The Aurality existent in this population. Building on top of studies related to sensorial anthropology and sensorial archaeology, this work intends to bring to discussion a new perspective to the studies of the Justino Archaeological Site. Bringing the idea of sensorial hierarchy variability existent in societies as well as aspects of experience and experimentation with the artifact, and this way, explain the possibility of constructing a new speech of what would have been the population that inhabited the region of Lower São Francisco.
