O consumo de bebidas alcoólicas em Sergipe: um estudo de mortalidade por causas múltiplas

Resumo: The objective was to describe the multiple causes of death related to the consumption of alcoholic beverages in Sergipe, from 2002 to 2011. All the death certificates whose causes were attributable to alcohol was selected. The data analyzed by TabWin. Mental and Behavioral Disorders (MBD) were the main underlying cause (51,1%) and Diseases of the Circulatory System the main associated cause (35,3%). According to multiple causes, men had a higher number of CMD (35,9%) and women with Digestive Diseases (32,1%). The highlight was the age group of 40-49 years (28,4%). Aracaju was the Region with the highest 26 number of occurrences (50,6%).This study allowed us to observe the population profile related to major multiple causes of death attributable to alcohol.

Selecionadas todas as declarações de óbito cujas causas fossem uma condição atribuível ao álcool. Os dados analisados pelo TabWin. Os Transtornos Mentais e Comportamentais (TMC) foram a principal causa básica (51,1%) e as Doenças do Aparelho Circulatório a principal causa associada (35,3%). Segundo causas múltiplas, homens apresentaram maior número de TMC (35,9%) e mulheres de Doenças do Aparelho Digestivo (32,1%). Destacou-se a faixa etária de 40-49 anos (28,4%). Aracaju foi a Região com o maior número de ocorrências (50,6%).
