This research aims to analyze the discursive images of the character Yoon Se-ri in the K-drama Pousando no Amor available on the Netflix streaming platform. This analysis will be based on the concept of ethos by Ferreira (2015) and Mosca (2001), going through the construction of these ethos throughout the series. In addition, the assumptions by Amossy (2013) and Maingueneau (2013) regarding the pre-discursive ethos and stereotyping will be fundamental for the analysis concerning this work, since we previously built the image of this character based on what we already know about the culture Korean and the themes usually addressed in Asian dramas. This pre-construction was not met, at first, because the character was characterized as outside the traditionalist pattern due to her behavior shown in the first episode. Another important aspect in this work is the observation of figures of speech assumed by Guimarães (1997) and Santana and Mariano (2013), making it possible to observe how these figures were used in our corpus.
