A saúde mental dos universitários de terapia ocupacional: a cobrança do conhecimento técnico e científico frente a sua formação acadêmica

Resumo: University students in their academic experiences go through moments of stress and personal, family and social charges to succeed in their training process. Overall objective is to understand the students' perception about the experience of participating in the teaching mediated by Active Learning Methodologies. Specific objectives: to identify the satisfaction of these students in relation to their undergraduate course; understand the perception of these students about the active methodologies and how these influence their mental health; evaluate how students see their happiness in the current situation they are in; to describe what the students feel most lack in the university and to understand the existence of signs and / or symptoms of depression in these students. The qualitative methodology was used with a socio-historical basis, and for the data collection the open interview technique and the Beck Depression Inventory were used. The subjects were 65 students of the occupational therapy course, in which it was equivalent to 50% of the total number of students in each cycle. It was found that most of the students said that they are happy, but they brought facts related to some absences such as: a place where they can carry out activities of leisure and coexistence, lack of a greater orientation and accompaniment teaching and free time, most of these results the students correlate with the methodologies used on campus. It was observed that more than half of the students present depression with a mild degree to severe depression, demonstrating the need for a subjective look at the graduate, because the exacerbated charges hamper educational and social development.

Objetivo geral compreender a percepção dos alunos sobre a experiência de participar do ensino mediado por Metodologias Ativas de Aprendizagem. Objetivos específicos: identificar a satisfação desses alunos com relação ao seu curso de graduação; entender a percepção destes discentes sobre as metodologias ativas e como essas influenciam sua saúde mental; avaliar como os alunos enxergam a sua felicidade na atual situação que se encontram; descrever o que os discentes mais sentem falta na universidade e compreender a existência de sinais e/ou sintomas de depressão nestes discentes. Utilizou-se da metodologia qualitativa com base teórico-metodológica sócio histórica, e para a coleta de dados foi utilizada a técnica de entrevista aberta e o Inventário de Depressão de Beck. Os sujeitos foram 65 discentes do curso de terapia ocupacional, no qual equivaleu a 50% do total de estudantes de cada ciclo. Constatou-se que a maioria dos discentes disseram que são felizes, mas trouxeram fatos relacionados com algumas ausências como: um lugar onde possam realizar atividades de lazer e convivência, falta de uma maior orientação e acompanhamento docente e de tempo livre, a maioria desses resultados os discentes correlacionam com as metodologias utilizadas no campus.
