The emergence of the feminist movement contributes greatly to the achievement of rights previously forgotten for women. In addition to these rights, female representation has gained space in several sectors, increasing gender equality in society. Seeing all the progress made so far, why not elevate masculinity the way it should be used? The objective of this work is to investigate how the teaching of science and biology can contribute to the formation of the student on questions about gender and male sexuality. Divided into four stages, the methodology comprises: the active search for scientific articles on the Scielo data platform, the collection of information from the collection of data contained in the selected bibliographies, the study of the proposed theme with the formation of masculinity in students and the analysis of results. The active search made it possible to find 220 articles, of which 17 were selected through a brief reading of the title and abstracts on the proposed topic. It is hoped with this research to demonstrate the possible contribution of science and biology classesto the education of students about gender and sexuality.
