Resumo: | Given the insertion of Digital Technologies of Information and Communication in education and the possibility of using different resources and methodologies through them in the teaching and learning process, asking how these methodologies contribute in the educational sphere becomes emerging. Thus, through a bibliographical research, whose approach is qualitative based on Richardson (2017), the objective was to understand the possibilities and challenges of peer instruction in the learning process. Some considerations were reached from authors such as Mazur (2015), Bacich, Neto and Trevisani (2015), among others, such as the need to consider that, if in the educational sphere there are several learning styles, using different methods in the teaching and learning process it becomes necessary and urgent. As for the use of peer instruction, it is reinforced that it presents itself as an effective and relevant methodology for teaching, as long as it is used in combination with other methodologies, which must be chosen according to the needs of students. |

Assim, por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, cuja abordagem é qualitativa com base em Richardson (2017), objetivou-se compreender as possibilidades e os desafios do peer instruction no processo de aprendizagem. Chegou-se a algumas considerações a partir de autores como Mazur (2015), Bacich, Neto e Trevisani (2015), dentre outros, a exemplo da necessidade de considerar que, se no âmbito educativo existem vários estilos de aprendizagem, utilizar de diferentes métodos no processo de ensino e aprendizagem torna-se necessário e urgente.
