This paper aims to reflect on the Biblical Archaeology within the aquatic environment related to the Sea of Galilee. In 1986 a boat dated to the first century was found in the lake shore. The importance of this finding is due to the fact that little is known about the ships that sailed the Sea of Galilee during this period. Recent research found the presence of 15 ancient harbors, anchorages around the lake and a siege of submerged fish. These findings provide a reflection on the aquatic environment as it was in Galilee and establishes a vision of Biblical Archaeology in the context of the Aquatic Environment.
