Resumo: Reducing time in an expedition can ensure operational excellence and quality. This work aims to show an application of time improvement tools in ethanol shipment, operational improvement and ethanol logistics in a plant. An exploratory bibliographic review was performed, besides the review, the logistic process was analyzed and a set of variables was identified. Next, samples were collected referring to the same periods of different years, in order to reduce the estimated time in the whole process. Based on this information, the plant obtained a reduction of the time in the process, increasing its agility and distribution. Thus, the contribution of this work stems from the identification of important quality variables in ethanol logistics, statistical process control tools and the determination of ways to save time and increase agility. Taking into account the improvement in the operation of the terminal, and its effectiveness, these points were inspected as part of systems and networks for the use of automation, vehicle registrations and equipment issues such as pipes, valves, meters and safety issues, in order to achieve an efficient result.

Este trabalho tem como objetivo mostrar uma aplicação de ferramentas de melhoria do tempo na expedição de etanol, melhoria operacional e da logística de etanol em uma planta. Uma revisão bibliográfica exploratória foi realizada, além da revisão, o processo logístico foi analisado e um conjunto de variáveis de foi identificado. Em seguida, foram coletadas amostras referentes aos mesmos períodos de anos diferentes, a fim de reduzir o tempo estimado em todo o processo. Com base nessas informações, a planta obteve uma redução do tempo no processo, aumentando assim sua agilidade e distribuição. Assim, a contribuição deste trabalho decorre da identificação de importantes variáveis de qualidade na logística do etanol, ferramentas de Controle estatístico de processo e na determinação das formas de economizar tempo e aumentar a agilidade.
