The construction industry has been undergoing major changes in recent years, many of which originated from the recent slowdown in the market due to the country's economic situation, which has led to the implementation of programs aimed at higher quality constructions. The performance standard NBR 15575 (ABNT, 2013) came into force in this scenario of changes and need for improvement in quality, with the purpose of establishing requirements for residential buildings regarding their behavior and users' needs. This standard came into force in 2013, but the construction companies are in a slow process of adaptation. This delay in adaptation may justify including the requirements of NBR 15575 (ABNT, 2013) in the SiAC regiment, which has led to certified companies to adapt more quickly to new requirements. The SiAC is one of the projects of the Brazilian Program of Quality and Productivity of Habitat (PBQP-H), whose long-term objectives are to create an environment of competitive isonomy, to provide cheaper and better quality solutions, aiming at reducing the housing deficit from the country. In this context, great are the challenges of construction companies to adapt to the new requirements of the construction industry, which generates major repercussions. The objective of this study was to make a survey of studies that addressed the standard themes of performance and SiAC, analyzing the main impacts observed in the selected case studies. The research method was based on literature review and bibliometric research, with elaboration of tables to systematize the data collected. Among the observed impacts were the lack of knowledge of the team, the overall increase in the cost of the work, the need for an effective management system, greater control of the execution processes, greater quality of construction materials and systems, the valuation of management professionals and the improvement of the quality of the final product
