Temáticas de pesquisa das monografias do curso de Secretariado Executivo da Universidade Federal de Sergipe : um estudo sistemático (2010 – 2017)

Research is part of academic life, through which knowledge is built and disseminated to society. In the field of Executive Secretariat scientific production is still fragile and the concern with this reality is recent. This study is justified by the researcher's curiosity in discovering how the evolution of productions occurred, as well as what has been written. It is also justified by the difficulties encountered by the students in the conclusion of the thesis, evidencing, for example, the lack of subjects related to Scientific Methodology. Thus, this research (unpublished in the Executive Secretariat course of the Federal University of Sergipe - UFS) proposed to identify and analyze the themes addressed in the theses from 2010 to 2017 using the specific contents required in ENADE (National Exam for the Assessment of Student Performance) of 2009, 2012 and 2015. This is a bibliographical and documentary study, using bibliometrics and systematic review for data analysis. The approach is quantitative and as regards its objectives, descriptive. Among the main results, the research showed that the evolution of the productions did not occur in an increasing and linear way and that the themes, a good part of them, did not address the specific contents of ENADE of the respective thematic period of the exams, while others did not present any relation, or none, to the thematic area of the Secretariat. From the analysis, it is inferred that even the choice of the subject of a thesis is a challenge and requires minimum scientific knowledge, an obstacle that could be minimized with the inclusion of subjects focused on Scientific Methodology as early as the first semesters of the course.
