Resumo: This study presents the implementation of a digital system in the archives of SEED also known as DIMOR, which began back in 2015, aiming to improve the search processes of documents concerning the Human Resources department which had been archived for years and nearly destroyed due to the passing of time. These documents have since been restored and digitalized. In order to do this, I have conducted a research of a case study, using procedures such as questionnaire and interview in order to understand how this process has contributed to the development of document management of archives at DIMOR, through testimonials of interviewees. I have found out that the process initially was not welcomed due to the fear of losing documents, but throughout time, it became trustworthy, and therefore the search for documents has become faster
