Reflexões sobre a educação escolar indígena na comunidade Wassu-Cocal/Alagoas

Resumo: | his article aims to present reflections of the schooling process in the Wassu-Cocal community. The work is the result of a qualitative bibliographic and documentary research on the standardization and consequently creation of schools in this indigenous territory. In this direction, we seek to build arguments and problematizations in order to understand the legal paths for the implementation of Indigenous School Education in the investigated community. To this end, we explain the legal milestones in which Indigenous School Education is supported and that support the maintenance, functioning and existence of differentiated education at the national level, and more specifically, indigenous school education in Alagoas, with particularly in the Wassu-Cocal Ethnoterritory. We think that addressing the theme implies considering and recognizing the advances and setbacks in Indigenous Education in Alagoas, as well as the epistemologies practiced, pedagogical knowledge and other cosmologies that is the basis of its praxis in Indigenous School Education. As a theoretical contribution we use Alberti (2013); Edson Silva (2007); Ferreira (2013); Gomes (2012); Junior (2013), among others. We conclude by reaffirming indigenous resistance stithers in relation to school knowledge, with autonomy and aware of what they want. |

O trabalho é fruto de uma pesquisa qualitativa bibliográfica e documental sobre a normatização e consequentemente criação das escolas no referido território indígena. Nessa direção, buscamos construir argumentações e problematizações a fim de compreender os caminhos legais para a implementação da Educação Escolar Indígena na comunidade investigada. Para tanto, explicitamos os marcos legais em que a Educação Escolar Indígena está amparada e que dão suporte para a manutenção, funcionamento e existência da educação diferenciada em âmbito nacional, e mais especificamente, à Educação Escolar Indígena em Alagoas, com particularmente no Etnoterritório Wassu-Cocal. Pensamos que abordar o tema implica considerar e reconhecer os avanços e retrocessos na Educação Indígena em Alagoas, bem como as epistemologias praticadas, saberes pedagógicos e outras cosmologias que é a base de sua práxis na Educação Escolar Indígena. Como aporte teórico recorremos a Alberti (2013); Edson Silva (2007); Ferreira (2013); Gomes (2012); Júnior (2013), entre outros.
