Resumo: This paper aims to contribute to the historical construction of middle São Francisco region. My study site is called "Patos Farm", a rural property in Piranhas municipality, state of Alagoas. This farm went through cycles of occupation and abandonment following a regional history of massacre. The historiography and actions inside the Archaeology of Architecture follow the hypothetical template of a residential structure and an analysis of how this farm of the 19th century was structured.
