The body is closely linked to the interpretations and perceptions of the world, which impacts on the individual and collective identity of the subjects. This work aims to analyze the perception of different social actors about culture and the body in everyday life. It is characterized as a qualitative research, of the descriptive type, which uses an online questionnaire as a data collection instrument containing questions related to personal, social and sociodemographic aspects, later, an open interview through the Google Meet platform. The narratives bring the perception of bodies that do not respond to a social standard, with statements in the direction of a concern with the loss of identity when trying to respond to the standards of contemporary society. It is understood that for these social actors, culture permeates everyday life and the power ofthe environment influences the relationship with their bodies, since their bodies are inserted in practices that inhabit the field of interaction between culture, health and the environment.
