Presença das políticas de inclusão de pessoas com deficiência nos sites de instituições de ensino superior do município de Governador Valadares-MG

Resumo: The inclusion of people with disabilities in higher education,despite being recognized in national and international documents,is a process that is still permeated by challenges.Higher education institutions (HELs) are urged,by legislation and by discussions promoted by researchers and social movements,to implement policies for the inclusion of people with disabilities.The work presents a documentary research carried out from the analysis of four higher education institutions located in the municipality of Governador Valadares-MG.The analysis reveals the absence of any term referring to the inclusion of people with disabilities on the homepage of the websites.In two institutions,initiatives related to inclusion can be accessed through a link available on the main page,in the other two,such information is not accessible through the different links available on the home page,which would be pertinent,for exemple, with the links graduation,education,services,student,student. Thus,according to the websites analyzed,the inclusion of people with disabilities is not an important element in the image that HELs seek to communicate.The concepts of exclusion and inclusion from the perspective of Boaventura de Sousa Santos allow us to discuss the inclusion of people with disabilities in higher education with its limits and future possibilities.

As instituições de ensino superior (IES) são instadas, pela legislação e pelas discussões promovidas por pesquisadores e por movimentos sociais, a implementarem políticas de inclusão de pessoas com deficiência.O trabalho apresenta pesquisa documental realizada a partir da análise dos sites de quatro instituições de ensino superior localizadas no município de Governador Valadares-MG. A análise revela a ausência de qualquer termo que faça referência à inclusão de pessoas com deficiência na página inicial dos sites. Em duas instituições, iniciativas relacionadas à inclusão podem ser acessadas por um link disponível na página principal, nas outras duas, tais informações não são acessíveis pelos diferentes links disponíveis na página inicial, o que seria pertinente, por exemplo, com os links graduação, ensino, serviços, aluno, estudante.Assim, de acordo com os sites analisados, a inclusão de pessoas com deficiência não figura como elemento importante na imagem que as IES buscam comunicar.
