The Institutional Program Initiation to Teaching Scholarship (PIBID) seeks, among many goals, establish a dialogue between school, university and community, coupled to reflection and the practice of teaching in context. Thus, this study aims to examine the contributions of PIBID in the teaching-learning process, in addition to teacher training of scholars linked to the project through workshops held in four biology classes in the 2º year of high school in a college located in the municipality of Aracaju. Through the application of a survey aimed at students, an interview for the class teacher, and the observations made by scholars, it was assessed positively the effectiveness of the methodologies used, and the impact of these workshops in the teaching-learning process. Therefore, we can conclude that contributes PIBID dynamics between theory and teaching practice.
